At London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA), part of the Global University Systems (GUS) network, we believe in more than just teaching -- we shape futures. We're looking for a passionate Lecturer in Graphic Design to join our innovative, brand new Birmingham campus and help guide students through their academic and creative journeys at Levels 3 to 5.
Your Role

  • Deliver design-focused modules at Levels 3-5, including visual communication, typography, branding, and digital design.
  • Use real-world briefs and industry-standard tools to enhance student engagement.
  • Guide students in developing strong portfolios and professional practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on cross-disciplinary initiatives and course design.
  • Mentor students in both academic and career development areas.
What You Bring
  • A degree in Graphic Design or related field; postgraduate or equivalent professional practice preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience teaching in UK higher education.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and awareness of contemporary design practices.
  • Experience balancing conceptual teaching with technical skill-building.
  • (Desirable: PGCert, HEA Fellowship, live client project experience)
