The London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA) is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Lecturers to deliver engaging classes for our BA (Hons) Hospitality Management & Leadership programme. This is a chance to join a modern, progressive academic team and put our student-centered, experiential learning philosophy into practice.
The Role: Inspire, Engage, and Lead
As a Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality, industry-informed teaching across Levels 4-6, drawing on your professional and academic experience to enrich student learning.
You'll deliver teaching in key areas, which may include:
  • Creative Events Management
  • Leadership and Entrepreneurship
  • Hospitality Marketing and Digital Marketing
  • Strategic Hospitality Management
  • Sustainable Business Practices
  • Customer Experience and Financial Planning
Your key activities will involve:
  • Delivering dynamic, applied teaching grounded in current industry practice.
  • Integrating guest speakers, case studies, and live projects into the learning experience to provide a 'real-life' skill set.
  • Championing the use of digital tools to enhance teaching and student engagement.
  • Providing academic and pastoral support to encourage student growth.
Requirements
What You'll Need to Succeed
We are looking for modern, progressive professionals with a distinct 'can-do' attitude.
Essential Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or Events Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience teaching in the UK Higher Education sector and/or training roles within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of leadership in the hospitality sector and the ability to deliver dynamic, applied teaching.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of digital learning technologies and hybrid delivery methods.
Desirable:
  • A Teaching qualification (PG Cert or equivalent) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Fellowship (or willingness to achieve) of the Higher Education Academy.
