Lecturer in Marketing & PR - Faculty of Creative Industries
Permanent,
Part-Time: 28 hours per week
Salary: From 40,170 up to 48,357 pro rata per annum (Candidates holding TQFE will commence on 46,310)
The successful candidate will be assigned to the Faculty of Creative Industries Marketing & PR curriculum team and teach across SQA awards from National Qualifications to Higher National Certificate & Diplomas. The main areas of teaching will be various aspects of marketing/digital marketing, marketing research, and advertising and public relations. Current curriculum delivery also requires economics. You will be teaching a diverse range of students and supporting their articulation and successful outcomes. As a professional member of the teaching staff of the College, you will be responsible for the preparation of lessons; the teaching of students and the assessment of their work.
The ideal candidate will possess recent and relevant industry experience that can be integrated to provide excellent student experience and employability skills. It is expected that good practice is shared across the team. The successful candidate will also have a working knowledge of post school education and of curriculum development at a national level, and good skills in communication and working with others.
Previous teaching or training experience is essential.
Successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory PVG Disclosure Check & Certificate of Good Conduct (as applicable) and must be eligible to work in the UK.
