About the role:

You will be responsible for teaching on the UAL Level1, 2 & 3 Diplomas in Music courses with 16-19 age and adults learners and responsible for planning and delivering Music units linked to either Music production or the industry. There is the possibility of some teaching on the HND Music production course that could be covered by this role, but this is not essential. Other general curriculum responsibilities will include assessment, tracking student achievement and some administration for the courses. As the Music specialist, you will use the Music resources and support student performances which celebrate students\' work and skills development.

We are looking for someone with a range of specialist skills in recording, sequencing, Adobe Audition and Logic Pro alongside, possibly other sector related production software. You will have current industry knowledge and be flexible and adaptable to delivering skills required for the digital sector and to join our thriving and expanding Creative and Digital Media team at the Tottenham Centre.

About you:

With appropriate experience and qualifications reflecting a strong background in Music education and/or the Music industry, you will have a teaching qualification or the commitment to undertake one during the first term of contract. You will have a history of teaching within a vocational (or similar) context to a high standard, with personal/group tutoring experience and of teaching a variety of BTEC & UAL units in Music at Level 1, 2 and Level 3. You must have the ability to communicate with students and to motivate and support them in their studies.
