About the role:

We are seeking a committed and dedicated Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Dramatherapy to join the team within the Cambridge School of Creative Industries. Based in Cambridge, we are a thriving multi-disciplinary department, with world-leading research, committed to clinical and research-informed teaching.

You will teach and provide academic and clinical supervision in our Arts Therapies Team, based in a centre which houses a vibrant research, clinical and learning and teaching environment. You will set up partnerships with clinical placements and will contribute to the development of our external partnerships, nationally and internationally.

You will have a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Dramatherapy Masters level qualification, and an interest in clinically based research. If you do not already hold a PhD you will be required to enrol for a PhD or Professional Doctorate within the first year of the post. You will play a significant role in the delivery of our MA Dramatherapy course, whilst contributing to other courses, such as MA Music Therapy, and collaborating with the wider team in the Cambridge School of Creative Industries. We would particularly welcome applications from those with a strong clinical, teaching and research background, who have a vision for the development of Dramatherapy training linked to clinical practice, in the modern climate of health, social care and education.
