Stamford College is seeking a dynamic and dedicated

Lecturer in Psychology

to join our A-Levels Faculty. This is an incredible opportunity to contribute to the successful learning experiences of our students, helping them achieve their full potential and embark on exciting academic journeys.

What You'll Be Doing:



As a Lecturer in Psychology, you'll be at the heart of our students' development. Your main responsibilities will include:

Delivering outstanding teaching

on A-Level Psychology courses, ensuring high-quality provision that meets and exceeds College standards.

Motivating and inspiring learners

through constructive and timely feedback, assessing their work, and tracking their progress.

Designing and developing engaging course materials

, schemes of work, and group profiles.

Providing one-to-one tutorials

to offer personalised guidance and support.

Collaborating with colleagues

to continuously enhance our curriculum.

Contributing to the wider college community

through student recruitment, marketing, and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.

What We're Looking For:



We're seeking an individual who is not only an expert in Psychology but also dedicated to fostering a positive and effective learning environment.

Qualifications:



A

degree-level qualification in Psychology

or a related subject is essential. Hold a

teaching qualification

, or be committed to achieving one within an agreed timeframe. Minimum of Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy.

Experience:



Proven

experience teaching A-Level Psychology

in a school or college setting. A track record of delivering lessons to a standard of 'Good' or above. Experience working effectively as part of a team. Experience in Further Education and course coordination is desirable.

Skills & Attributes:



Creative and innovative

in your teaching approach. The ability to

inspire, motivate, and raise aspirations

of students. Excellent

communication, planning, and organisational skills

. A

proactive, professional, and 'can-do' attitude

. Proficiency in

MS Office applications

and the ability to embed

Information Learning Technology (ILT)

in your teaching. A strong commitment to

safeguarding

and promoting the welfare of young people.
