FTE Salary: up to 34,416.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)



Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time



Working Hours: 37 hours per week

As a Sports Lecturer at SGS College, you will have the opportunity to teach across multiple levels and qualifications. We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching, committed to learner success, and eager to contribute to the continued excellence of our department.



Key Tasks and Responsibilities






The successful candidate will have an excellent track record in teaching and demonstrate commitment to achieving the best for each student to maintain the high standards within the department.Teaching and assessment duties within Academic Sport programmes. Tutorial responsibilities, supporting learner progress in collaboration with all appropriate college services. Support with curriculum planning work, identifying consumer requirements, planning, developing and evaluating courses and course materials. Contribute to wider marketing and promotional events.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications


The post requires at least a masters degree qualification in a related field and candidates should hold, or be willing to work towards, a PGCE or qualified teacher status. Experience of vocational delivery, with a tangible passion for the subject area Qualified Teacher Status, or willing to work towards Highly proactive, highly communicative and clear approach Experience in the coaching and/or fitness industries Achieved a NGB sports qualification.
