About the role:
An opportunity has arisen within the School of Health, Social Work and Sport, for a Part-Time Lecturer in Sports Therapy. The School is home to a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and CPD opportunities and we are proud of our commitment to delivering courses and CPD opportunities with a strong research, industry, and practitioner-inspired teaching philosophy.
About you:
The successful applicant will contribute to the delivery of modules within BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy. We are looking for a candidate with industry experience who is passionate about enhancing the Sports Therapy provision offered to our students. You must possess excellent communication skills, have an innovative and flexible approach to teaching and learning, and the ability to relate to a diverse range of students and practitioners in a variety of settings from elite sport to the public sector. Experience of working within the field of Sports Therapy is essential. You must possess an undergraduate degree and be a currently practicing Sports Therapist accredited by The Society of Sports Therapists (SST) or equivalent. A clear understanding of the profession, the professional body (SST) and its current developmental direction, is essential.
