About the role


------------------


We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the post of Lecturer in Applied Linguistics/TESOL.



You will contribute to teaching and teaching-related activities on courses offered by the IOE, UCL's Faculty of Education and Society and to offer specialist supervision to research students (MPhil, EdD and PhD).



In particular, you will develop a postgraduate module on Language Teaching and Technology and contribute to teaching in one or more of the following postgraduate modules: Fundamentals of Second and Foreign Language Teaching; Language Testing and Assessment, Materials Development for Language Teaching, Research Methods, and Second Language Acquisition.


About you


-------------


With a doctorate in TESOL, Applied Linguistics or related area you will have a track record of teaching in Higher Education and experience in teaching a second/foreign language



In addition, you will have significant achievements and a proven track-record through research publications in the field of TESOL and Applied Linguistics, including a record of relevant and high-quality publications suitable for inclusion in future Research Excellence Framework assessments
