Are you passionate and experience math mathematics Lecturer and eager to empower learners to unlock their full potential? At Newham College, we're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as

Maths Lecturers, teaching up to GCSE level. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students and contribute to their academic success.

Key responsibilities.

Deliver engaging GCSE Maths lessons to 16-18-year-old students.

Contribute to a well-resourced and collaborative department.

Utilise a wide range of teaching and learning tools to create interesting and engaging learning opportunities

Deliver outstanding learning, using creative learning strategies that will inspire and engage students to reach their full potential. Provide students with academic and pastoral support to help them achieve their goals. Mark and assess students' work, providing feedback that supports students to improve.

Our Ideal candidate should have the following qualifications, skills and experience.



A full teaching qualification PGCE, or equivalent

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.

Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality lessons and supporting learners to achieve their goals.

Proven experience as a confident teacher in formal educational settings.

A passion for mathematics and education, with a drive to make a positive impact on students' lives.

The ability to inspire and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of ability.

The salary for this position is inclusive of London weighting. Please note that it is Newham College's policy to offer all roles at the entry point of the salary scale advertised. However, based on your qualifications and experience, we may offer a higher starting salary within the specified salary range.
