About the role:
We are currently seeking a Lecturer in Maths to join our Maths and English department at The Bedford College Group
.
As a Lecturer, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
Teaching & Curriculum Delivery
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging maths lessons across a range of levels and qualifications, ensuring alignment with awarding body standards and individual learner needs.
Student Support & Progress
- Guide students through tutorials, monitor progress, and provide timely feedback to help them achieve their potential and meet academic targets.
Curriculum Development & Innovation
- Contribute to curriculum planning, develop new learning materials, and integrate vocational opportunities to enhance the student experience.
Quality Assurance & Administration
- Maintain accurate records, meet assessment and reporting deadlines, and participate in course reviews, team meetings, and quality improvement processes.
Professional Engagement & Compliance
- Support marketing and recruitment activities, uphold safeguarding, equality, and health and safety standards, and engage in continuous professional development.
About you:
Qualifications & Subject Knowledge
- Holds or is working towards a relevant degree or Level 5 qualification in maths, with GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, and up-to-date knowledge of the subject area.
Teaching Experience
- Recent experience teaching and assessing maths at Level 2 and above, with a strong track record of high performance and meeting awarding body standards.

Tresham College has three main sites in Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough, each with impressive modern buildings. About The Bedford College Group
The Bedford College Group was formed in 2017 following the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College and is now the largest provider of education in the South East Midlands, with over 15,000 students passing through our doors each year.
