Job Description


We have a great opportunity based at our Shuttleworth campus for a Lecturer of Agriculture to become a key member of our Land & Environment department.

As a Lecturer of Agriculture, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

  • Preparing, delivering and assessing Agriculture qualifications within the land based provision on a range of courses, principally at level 3 and 4-6.
Our ideal candidates will have substantial industry experience in the UK Agriculture industry and knowledge of the current developments in Agriculture, alongside the following qualifications:
  • Relevant Level 6 BSc degree qualification in Agriculture.
  • GSCE Maths and English (grades A - C) or equivalent
  • Experience of working within the agricultural sector including either livestock production or crop production
