We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Lecturer in Personal, Social and Employability Skills
to join our inclusive education team. This is a unique opportunity to work with young people aged 14 - 18, supporting them to build confidence, resilience, and the practical skills they need to thrive in life and work.
You will deliver engaging, trauma-informed teaching in areas such as: Communication and teamwork
Employability and work readiness
Skills for further technical study
Personal and social development
Independent living skills
Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will tailor learning to meet individual needs, promote positive outcomes, and empower learners to take control of their futures.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive sessions in Personal, Social and Employability Skills
Create a supportive, learner-centred environment
Use trauma-informed approaches to support emotional well-being
Monitor and assess learner progress, setting meaningful targets
Work collaboratively with pastoral staff and external agencies
Skills & Knowledge

What we can offer you
As the successful candidate, you will be offered a salary of between 30,570 - 37,668 per annum based upon a combination of the skills, knowledge and experience that you can bring to the role.
