About the Role





We are seeking a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Electronic and Electrical Engineering on a fixed term contract to cover a 12-month maternity leave. The post holder will contribute to our ambitious plans to continue to grow a new Department of Engineering at Nottingham Trent University.


The Department is characterised by an innovative approach to education in partnership with industry, emphasising innovation and project delivery on a foundation of core engineering expertise. We are seeking an inspiring educator, who aims to develop project-based teaching in the context of real-world applications and thrives in a collegiate Department. The new dedicated Engineering building opened in September 2019 and the department has recently been recognised as a member of CDIO.


You will have a PhD in a relevant engineering discipline and an emerging record in research. The successful candidate will be able to teach modules in digital systems and computer engineering.


The level of appointment would be determined by the selection panel following an interview.
