About the role


------------------


The post-holder would be expected to teach modules on both under and postgraduate programmes in the context of Computer Systems and Networks and to contribute to the development, planning and implementation of a high-quality curriculum and associated administrative tasks.



To apply, we require two submissions. First, please submit a CV, of no more than 6 pages, which includes a list of your teaching experience and your roles and responsibilities in the modules/courses you have taught.



Second, please submit a single supporting document, of no more than 10 pages, which includes your personal, teaching, research and diversity statements.


This role meets the eligibility requirements for a skilled worker certificate of sponsorship or a global talent visa under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore, UCL welcomes applications from international applicants who require a visa.


We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible*.
This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 40% on site.*

About you


-------------


You must hold a PhD in Computer Systems and Networks, or a closely related discipline, or demonstrate evidence of an equivalent level of attainment in the subject area. You will possess demonstrable expertise across a range of foundational and applied systems and networks topics.
You will be expected to demonstrate a strong track record and aptitude in teaching Computer Systems and Networks at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Evidence of your ability to develop and deliver engaging and rigorous curriculum content is essential.
You must also possess the interpersonal skills required to work effectively with students, academic colleagues, and professional staff. The role also requires the ability to supervise undergraduate projects and contribute to student mentoring and academic development.
