We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer (Teaching) to join our Paramedic Science team. The successful applicant will form part of an enthusiastic and motivated team delivering the BSc Paramedic Science Programme at the University of Worcester and partnered site. We aim to ensure that our Paramedic Science students are offered an outstanding student experience, and the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a commitment to contribute to this aspiration in a very practical and positive way.
Paramedic Science at Worcester sits within the School of Health and Wellbeing. The school comprises three departments, whereby Paramedic Science sits within the department of Community, Social Justice and Health. Successful applicants will be confident and competent in teaching across a range of topics and levels within Paramedic Science, as well as providing supportive personal academic tutoring and dissertation supervision to students. We are particularly interested in candidates who are interested or experienced in teaching both theory and skills modules. Successful applicants for the lecturer role will also demonstrate a clear engagement or wish to become involved in research activity and practices. Your teaching approach will be flexible, student-centred and research or practice-inspired. You will join an established team with a strong sense of purpose and a firm commitment to making a difference. The role will also require you to develop and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders across the university and wider community, you will need a high level of interpersonal skills.
