Lecturer/Assessor in Carpentry & Joinery Apprenticeships (Architectural Joiner)

FTE Salary: Up to 36,099 plus 3,000 market supplement (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)



Contract Type: Part time, Permanent



Working Hours: 30 hours per week

We're currently seeking a

Lecturer/Assessor in Carpentry & Joinery

to help shape the future of construction apprentices. If you're enthusiastic about sharing your skills and supporting learners on their journey to success, we'd love to hear from you.




Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Support recruitment of construction apprenticeships Responsibility for a cohort of construction apprentices Support the continued improvement SGS Apprenticeships To observe and have responsibility for the College Health and Safety policies. This includes the duty to take reasonable care to avoid injury to themselves or others by their work activities or omissions, and to co-operate with their Employer in the discharge of its statutory duties. Any other duties required by the line manager or Head of Sector that are commensurate with the grade.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

Educated to degree level or equivalent or have substantial relevant subject experience and occupational competence. Experience of coaching and mentoring trainees Experience working with apprenticeship provision or functional skills delivery
