Queen's Business School (QBS) at Queens University Belfast is currently seeking to appoint one or more exceptional candidates to the post of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Accounting. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to shape and strengthen the future direction of QBS from both a research and teaching perspective. The appointed candidates will get the opportunity to interact and work with colleagues whose research is internationally renowned for excellence and societal impact.About the person:Successful Candidates' applications should clearly demonstrate the following essential criteria:

  • A completed PhD (or very close to completion for Lecturer) in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • An established programme of research activity and dissemination of original, high-quality Accounting researchin line with accepted norms for Lecturer/Senior Lecturer.
  • A developing (for Lecturer) or sustained (for Senior Lecturer) track record of high-quality peer reviewedAccounting publications as appropriate to norms for Lecturer/Senior Lecturer.
  • Evidence of the ability and willingness to teach (for Lecturer)/significant experience of teaching and assessing(for Senior Lecturer) at university level including design of new and innovative modules/pathways or assessment methods in Accounting and related fields.
  • Appropriate administrative and academic leadership at a strategic level commensurate with their stage of career.
  • Demonstrable ability to advance the teaching and research goals of QBS.
