The Role:



The School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, seeks to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, depending on experience, in Aerospace or Space Engineering. We offer a portfolio of degrees in space systems engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, renewable energy, electrical power engineering, robotics and artificial intelligence, and mechanical engineering. These are supported by our new multi-million-pound robotics and artificial intelligence, energy and space engineering laboratories.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and highly motivated member of staff who will make a difference in the education of future generations of engineers. The post holder will undertake teaching, tutorial and practical work supervision and the development of learning activities. This includes the design, delivery and administration of assessment and contributing to the excellent pastoral care across the school. Knowledge and expertise in aerospace, especially in aerial platforms technologies (planes/drones) is essential. The post holder will also be able to supervise final year and master's projects.



There will be opportunities to gain a recognised HE teaching qualification if appropriate.
