We specialise in LED lighting, solar installations, and energy-efficient upgrades, working across Education, Healthcare, Public Sector, and Retail sectors throughout the South East.

The Role

We are seeking a reliable Electrical Improver to assist with the delivery of LED lighting upgrade projects. This is a practical, full-time position suited to someone progressing towards full electrician status, offering the chance to learn alongside experienced engineers in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the installation of LED lighting fittings and retrofit solutions Carry out basic electrical wiring, terminations, and containment works Adhere to all electrical safety standards and compliance requirements Work collaboratively with electricians, project managers, and site teams Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service on site Use basic digital systems for reporting and site records
Requirements

Currently enrolled in (or recently completed) a Level 2 or higher electrical qualification ECS Card (essential) Previous experience in commercial lighting or LED projects is an advantage Able to work both independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Willingness to work evening/night shifts during term-time (approximately 39 weeks per year) Comfortable with occasional travel or working away from home (expenses paid) Full UK driving licence required Must live within commuting distance of Sevenoaks, Kent You will be required to drive to site or meet and travel together as a team

DBS:

A BASIC DBS check is required to access sites. Please only apply if you are willing to complete this. If successful, an ENHANCED DBS check will be arranged.

Trial period:

Willing to complete a paid trial period of a minimum of 2 days up to 1 week prior to onboarding
Pay & Package

Base salary: 26-28,000 per year Enhanced evening/night rate: Time-and-a-half for term-time evening/night work Typical earnings (OTE): 37,000-38,500 per year Based on evening/night working for around 39 weeks per year; job-dependent and not guaranteed Travel, food, and accommodation expenses covered when working away On-the-job training with a clear progression route to qualification Supportive team culture Company pension scheme Branded uniform and on-site parking provided
