evening and overnight work

Rate 15-20 per hour depending on experience

About the Role

We're seeking a confident and reliable

Set Installation Assistant

to join our hardworking team. This is a hands-on role involving the

installation and assembly of sets and displays within shopping centres

, primarily

after trading hours

.

You'll work as part of a small team travelling across the UK, ensuring installations are completed to a high standard and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the

installation and breakdown

of sets and displays in shopping centres and venues nationwide Follow

site plans and instructions

to achieve the required layout and finish Work confidently alongside a

build and installation team

, taking responsibility for aspects of the setup when needed

Drive company vehicles

(long wheelbase and Luton vans) to transport materials and equipment

Troubleshoot and problem-solve

on site, ensuring smooth installations and meeting tight deadlines Maintain a professional and positive attitude when working with clients and venue staff
Requirements

Confident, competent driver (must be able to drive

long wheelbase and Luton vans

) Willing and able to

work away from home

(accommodation provided) Comfortable working

after hours and overnight

in shopping centres

Previous experience

in set building, event installation, or a similar hands-on role preferred Good

eye for detail

and pride in delivering a high-quality finish Able to

read site plans and follow instructions

accurately Strong

communication and problem-solving skills

- able to think on your feet and make quick, practical decisions Reliable, punctual, and comfortable taking initiative when required
