This is a Part-time role for 3/4 days a week (9am to 5pm) on-site role for an Accounts Assistant located in our office in Folkestone.
You will have experience of working in a legal environment dealing with Credit Control/VAT, reconciling accounts, have an understanding of Solicitors account rules, have typing skills, and knowledge of accounts packages (Solpak helpful but not essential).
You must also have attention to detail, do physical banking on a weekly basis if needed, online banking and purchasing support. You must be a team player, methodical and organised with a calm and flexible approach to work. We provide full training and ongoing support.
There will be one day during the week you will also be required to undertake some audio typing for fee earners in various departments. Salary is dependable on experience.

Requirements
Experience of accounts within a legal practice
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on professionalism.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
