We have an exciting new opportunity available for a Legal Admin Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be someone who is hard working, organised and looking to progress within their career as part of a tight-knit and fast-growing organisation.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Legal and will be working alongside the wider teams at our Head Office in Sale, as well as teams on-site at various locations nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Management: Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports. Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with legal standards
Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.
Client Interaction: Serve as the first point of contact for clients, answering inquiries and directing them to the appropriate team members. Maintain positive client relationships.
Research and Filing: Conduct legal research and gather relevant information as needed. Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
Billing and Invoicing: Assist with the preparation of invoices and billing statements. Track billable hours and manage client accounts.
Technology Proficiency: Utilize legal management software and other technology tools to streamline office operations.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with wider teams to support case management and ensure timely delivery of legal services.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1 years of experience in a legal/administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with legal management software (e.g., Clio, PracticePanther).
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a professional demeanor under pressure.
