we have a position available for a Legal Administration Assistant , working within the sector of Wills and probate and specialising in Lasting Powers of Attorney at our central office in Rochford. We require the following person:
Who preferably has a legal background and experience in Wills and Probate matters and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
To draft last Will and Testaments and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Liaise with the Office of Public Guardian.
To meet with clients in the office or at their homes to advise and take instructions.
To assist with signing and witnessing of Last Will and Testaments.
To assist in other duties as and when required.
to be active and proficient in day to day office duties, filing, case management and diary management.
Must be able to communicate at all levels.
Enthusiastic, professional yet empathetic approach.
Excellent telephone manner.
Must have IT skills and be able to draft and compose letters where necessary.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail is extremely important.
To be flexible to cover different office when required and to assist in cover in times of sickness and holidays.
Holds a full driving licence.
Hours Monday, Tuesday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9.30-4.30pm and additional hours when required.
