Overview
A busy and growing Wills & Tax department is seeking a Trust Administrator to join their team in the heart of Ringwood . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in trust or estate administration who is looking to develop their career in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day administration of a portfolio of trusts
  • Liaising with trustees, beneficiaries, and professional advisers
  • Preparing trust accounts and annual trust tax returns
  • Managing key dates and deadlines for compliance
  • Assisting with the creation, variation, and termination of trusts
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Supporting solicitors with estate planning matters as required
  • Ensuring all work is compliant with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks
Person Specification
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience in trust administration, tax, or a private client support role
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Good understanding of trust and estate terminology and concepts
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
  • Professional and clear communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
  • Experience preparing trust tax returns and accounts
  • Familiarity with legal or trust management software
  • STEP qualification or working towards it (or willingness to study)

Location & Travel
