The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly personable First Responder to join our Housing Disrepair team, based at our newly refurbed office in Stockton. You will play a vital role in liaising with clients, gathering evidence and providing administrative support on cases whilst building valuable knowledge of Housing Law. Full training will be provided, so if you're organised, a great communicator and ready to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities:

• Liaising with clients and third parties by telephone and email correspondence
• Reviewing cases to assess the merits of potential disrepair cases, including but not limited to:
• Gathering information and evidence from clients
• Keeping detailed records of incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Assisting case workers by drafting letters and emails
• Opening files through our case management system
• Developing a working knowledge of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985
• Attending client meetings for note taking purposes

Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient IT skills with experience of using Microsoft Office
• A meticulous eye for detail to ensure precision in all tasks
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workloads
