Job Description
The firm is seeking to recruit a Paralegal/Legal Assistant to provide legal support to a Director with a varied caseload. This is a unique opportunity to assist in mixed claims of housing disrepair, medical negligence, actions against the police and personal injury cases, providing great experience to the successful candidate. Full training will be provided should the candidate have no experience.
The ideal candidate will have: -
Previous experience is desirable but not essential;
Law degree or equivalent;
Key responsibilities & duties:
To obtain instructions and documentation from clients to ensure sufficient information to draft a letter of claim, drafting of letters of claim;
Instructing experts and reviewing reports;
Drafting of statements and reviewing of legal documents;
Set up and maintain electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material;
Conduct legal and other necessary research;
Provide high quality point of contact for all clients;
Develop and maintain good relationships with all clients and other professionals.

Pay: From 27,000.00 per year
