Legal Cashier Role
NC Associates is proud to be partnering with a well-regarded law firm to find their next Legal Cashier - someone who thrives on accuracy, loves keeping things compliant, and wants to be a key part of a tight-knit team.
Legal Cashier Responsibilities:

Managing all financial transactions in line with the Solicitors Accounts Rules
Carrying out reconciliations, client ledger postings, and TT/BACS payments
Processing bills, credit notes, expenses, and petty cash
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Producing accurate month-end reports and keeping the finance admin ticking over
Using Leap for case management and Xero for business transactions
Solving routine queries and keeping things moving smoothly

Legal Cashier Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as a Legal Cashier or in a similar finance-related role
A solid understanding of accounting principles and credit control
High accuracy levels and eagle-eyed attention to detail
Confidence working under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills to liaise across the practice
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams)
Professional integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
