Legal Cashier Role Overview
NC Associates have an opportunity for a Legal Cashier to join a law firm based in Liverpool. This is an excellent role which offers development opportunities along with flexibility that includes hybrid working. As the Legal Cashier you will report into the Financial Controller.
Legal Cashier Responsibilities:

• Processing client and office account transactions in line with SAR and internal procedures
• Bank reconciliations for both office and client accounts.
• Managing incoming and outgoing payments, including BACS, CHAPS, and cheque payments
• Checking that all payment and receipt requests are authorised
• Setting up of banking payments for authorisation.
• Responding to legal cashiering accounts queries.
• Managing and processing the accounts payable ledger.

Legal Cashier Experience Required

• Previous experience in a Legal Cashier or similar finance role within a law firm
• Sound knowledge of Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SAR) and legal accounting procedures
• Knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines
