Senior Legal Consultant - Land, Leases and Holiday Park Agreements
We are seeking a highly experienced retired, semi-retired, or currently practising lawyer or barrister to support our expanding Holiday Park and Leisure Property portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who wants flexible, remote work while applying specialist legal expertise to real estate, land acquisitions, and lease structures.
A full-time position will also be considered for the right candidate.
Hourly Rate: 25 - 35 per hour, with the potential for full-time employment.
Role Responsibilities:
Land acquisition, title investigations, due diligence
Drafting and negotiating commercial leases
Long-term rental agreements, pitch licences, and occupancy contracts
Site licensing, planning obligations, and compliance
Option agreements, easements, covenants, overage, rights of way
Risk management and dispute avoidance
Liaison with surveyors, planning consultants, and local authorities
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Solicitor (practising, retired, non-practising) or Barrister
Strong background in Commercial Property, Land Law, Leases & Licensing
Experience with Landlord & Tenant Act, Leasehold Reform, Commercial Rent Law
Ability to draft Heads of Terms, Lease Agreements, Tenancy Contracts, Option Agreements
Minimum 10 years' experience in property or commercial law
Professional references required
Additional Requirements:
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Comfort with basic AI tools (preferred)
Strong drafting precision and ability to work independently
