Legal Counsel

to join our team at our Leeds headquarters.

The Role

As Legal Counsel, you will provide strategic legal guidance to the business, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk while enabling commercial success. This is a varied role, offering exposure to a broad range of legal matters including corporate governance, commercial contracts, employment, data protection, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements Advising on corporate, compliance, and regulatory matters Supporting senior management with strategic decision-making Managing legal risk across the business Liaising with external counsel where specialist expertise is required

About You

Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with at least 3+ years PQE (or equivalent experience) Strong background in commercial law, with experience across corporate and regulatory matters Excellent communication and negotiation skills A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to balance legal risk against commercial priorities Previous in-house experience desirable, but not essential
