As a Legal Counsel Corporate & Commercial - 12-month FTC, you'll lead on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. You'll ensure the business meets its corporate governance requirements, follows best practices, and stays agile by providing hands-on legal support across the team and projects
You'll collaborate closely with our Legal Resource Team, offering advice on joint venture agreements and business transfer documentation. Advising on day-to-day legal queries and ensuring our documents reflect current legal standards. You'll provide legal guidance on a range of corporate governance topics, including internal restructures, changes to directorships, and dividend declarations, helping to keep our corporate structure aligned and compliant.
You'll be supporting on strategic corporate projects, using your legal insight to influence key business decisions. You'll identify emerging legal risks through horizon scanning and implement practical policies and systems that keep our operations compliant and future ready.
We're looking for a UK-qualified lawyer with solid corporate and commercial experience. You'll have a strong understanding of corporate governance and company secretarial law and procedures. You'll build trusted relationships across the business, including with senior stakeholders and Executive leaders, and deliver clear, practical legal advice that supports our strategic goals and helps teams navigate complex challenges.
