As a Legal Entity Controller Associate in the Global Finance and Business Management team, you will assist in the financial oversight of our legal entities. You will collaborate with various teams to support accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Your role will involve assisting in financial reporting functions, supporting balance sheet and capital hedging programs, and contributing to process improvements. Together, we will ensure a strong control environment and support the firm's financial objectives.


Job Responsibilities:




Assist in the financial reporting function for UK legal entities in Asset Management Collaborate with financial and operational groups to provide financial analysis to management Communicate with internal stakeholders on legal entity matters Conduct month-end analytical reviews to ensure financial statement accuracy Support balance sheet and capital hedging programs, liaising with Treasury colleagues Contribute to process improvements to enhance reporting and efficiency Assist in legal entity accounting and control on a monthly basis Investigate and resolve issues, responding to ad-hoc queries Support compliance monitoring and establish accountability with business lines Participate in firmwide legal entity reporting projects and initiatives

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:




Experience or interest in finance, accounting, or regulatory reporting Suits newly-qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or near qualification Strong accounting and analytical skills with financial statement expertise Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as efficiency and automation tools (e.g. Alteryx, Python, OpenAI) Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to adapt to change Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to partner effectively and advise business partners Superior attention to detail and process improvement skills

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:




Experience or interest in legal entity and financial statement preparation Ability to prepare presentations Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements Passion for enhancing efficiency and control in financial operations
