Programme Description

What does this team do?

The Legal Entity Management and Governance (LEMG) team provide a broad range of compliance and advisory services relating to the management and governance of corporate business. These services cover all stages of a business from incorporation through to closing, extending from the UK to a global basis.

In this role, you will support clients in meeting their corporate legal and compliance obligations, with the support of your colleagues both in legal and other areas of the business. You'll help our clients with consulting projects, covering strategy, operations, company administration, governance, and restructuring projects. Our services are tech-enabled and we use our in-house tools for our clients.

What skills and academic qualifications do I need?

You'll need to have obtained or be studying towards a minimum 2:1 in any degree discipline and have graduated by September 2026 for the Autumn 2026 intake.

What kind of work will I do?

You will utilise tech solutions, including our in-house developed AI and engagement tools, to support our clients in maximising their efficiencies. You will ensure the highest standards of governance, and remain compliant and up to date with the ever-changing corporate world.

Our clients vary from private groups and owner-managed businesses to large multinationals, operating across many industries including tech & media, financial services, life sciences, real estate, leisure, retail, manufacturing and utilities.

Each client brings their own unique requirements and challenges, offering numerous learning opportunities. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of clients and get involved in company secretarial, governance, compliance and advisory tasks, whilst having the support and guidance of our engagement team.

Where will I work?

At Deloitte we recognise how important face-to-face interaction is for your development in a new role. We also understand that our people need flexibility, which is why we operate a hybrid system, with a combination of office and home working. If you're in a client-facing role, you might be expected to attend client sites on certain days, while your meetings will be a mix of online and in-person events. Please note your final assessment and induction will also be in-person, to give you the opportunity to network and build relationships.

All our

work spaces

are accessible, however, if you require further flexibility due to a health condition or caring responsibilities, please discuss this with our team.

How will I develop?

In addition to taking part in our Analyst Development Programme and attending at the Tax & Legal Analyst Academy, we will support you in achieving a professional qualification under the Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme with the Chartered Governance Institute (formerly the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators).

This is a widely recognised qualification for governance professionals and company secretaries, with no prior qualifications required to start. It takes around two years to complete and is considered equivalent to a postgraduate level qualification. You will study areas such as company law, corporate governance, compliance, and risk - building the expertise needed to take on governance roles with real responsibility in professional services and beyond.
