We have an exciting opportunity for a

Legal Executive

to join our fast-paced Recoveries team. If your confident, great at problem-solving and have strong researching skills then this is the role for you. You will be part of a supportive team but be prepared to learn through doing the role alongside formal training.

What you'll be doing



Researching cases and preparing legal updates for the team on upcoming changes and arising issues Maintaining the current systems in place, including the litigation databases Monitoring shared legal inboxes and managing correspondence Dealing with general enquiries by phone or email Work closely with colleagues to contribute to objectives and targets for the teams' process, acquiring and sharing knowledge and skills as part of your daily tasks Manage workload effectively, taking ownership of all tasks, ensuring they are completed within given timescales, and escalated as appropriate to enable effective recovery of debt Assist and collaborate with ALL other areas of the business as required Work collaboratively with team members to ensure more complex issues and escalations are investigated and resolved Review customer accounts ensuring high-quality data is available as appropriate, and identify any potential barriers to payment Opportunity for involvement in the continuous automation and improvement of business processes

What you'll bring to the role



Legal work experience desirable Administration experience desirable Currently studying or have completed a law degree Competent user of MS Office packages; Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Team player Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, being flexible in approach to meet the requirements of the business Competent research skills Confident communicator Commercial Awareness
