About the Team





You will join a team dedicated to reshaping how innovation is delivered at Burges Salmon. We work with lawyers, clients, and business professionals to design practical solutions that make processes more efficient, improve client outcomes, and prepare the firm for the future.


About the Role





As a Legal Innovation Business Partner, you'll help shape how technology and innovation are used across the firm. Reporting to the Senior Innovation Business Partner, you'll work on projects that improve operations and client service, from introducing new legal tech to automating processes. This role involves both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, working closely with lawyers, IT specialists, and business teams to make change happen.


What You'll Do




Identify opportunities for innovation and help deliver practical solutions. Partner with teams to understand their needs and co-design innovative solutions. Research and test emerging technologies such as AI and automation. Lead pilot projects and support wider rollouts of new tools. Help teams adopt new systems through training and change management.

What We're Looking For




Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Law, or related field. Experience in innovation, technology, or project management within professional services. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Knowledge of legal tech platforms and emerging technologies. Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to change.

Essential




Interest in innovation and willingness to try new approaches. Understanding of law firm operations and client needs. Collaborative approach and ability to build strong relationships.
