Legal Operations Manager | Wilmslow | Retrain
Sacco Mann is working with a reputable and forward-thinking law firm based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, who are seeking an experienced Legal Operations Manager to join their leadership team on a permanent basis.
This is a key strategic role, responsible for overseeing and optimising the firm's operational processes to ensure efficiency, compliance and consistently high service standards. The role would also suit a qualified Solicitor looking to step away from a fee-earning position and move into a senior operational and management role within a law firm.
The Role
As Legal Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the firm's day-to-day operational framework, with responsibilities including:
Overseeing and optimising legal operations to improve efficiency and service delivery
Implementing best practices, policies and procedures across the firm
Managing and developing operational teams to ensure high performance
Leading training and retraining initiatives to support continuous improvement
Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and risk management requirements
Working closely with partners, fee earners and support teams to support business objectives
Driving process optimisation and effective use of legal technology and systems
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience as an Operations Manager within the legal sector, or a qualified Solicitor with strong operational, supervisory or management experience
Background in legal operations, compliance, process improvement or practice management
Experience designing and implementing training and development programmes
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent organisational and communication abilities
Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to manage change
Confident using legal case management systems and operational technology
