Rubric Law, a Bristol based law firm, wish to appoint an individual to provide legal operations support to work within their office in Monmouth. The role would particularly suit individual with both legal support and case management system experience.

The Role

You will be instrumental in assisting in the continued development and growth of the firm where you will assist the operations team in enabling the firm to deliver the best client care and professional service possible. The role will suit an individual who has experience of legal operations and will embrace the responsibility, and associated recognition, for the provision of high quality legal support service to the firm.

The successful candidate will be required to provide daily support to the Head of Business Operations and the firm's fee earners, striving for a consistent service, continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with the SRA. Previous administration experience, advanced use of Microsoft and experience of the legal environment are all essential.

Tasks will include liaising with clients and fee earners, client onboarding and AML, recording and processing incoming/outgoing mail, administering and implementing key policies, priorities and procedures that support the effective running of the firm, installing, improving and automating processes and systems ensuring our case management system is utilised to its full capability, reviewing matters to ensure regulatory compliance, assisting with marketing campaigns, liaising with recruitment agencies and running recruitment campaigns, implementing and conducting staff induction and training, general HR administration, review, implementation and management of policies and procedures relating to and compliance and managing debt recovery.

Candidate Requirements:

Experience of developing a business focussed administration service to a range of stakeholders, ensuring it meets their needs and effective processes are in place. Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal. Excellent active listening skills. Ability to deal with difficult situations and confidential matters. Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences. Organised with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics. Experience of identifying and delivering standard business solutions through the use of technology, integrated systems and processes. Experience of production of written materials for internal and external audiences (e.g. procedures, handbooks and reports). Developing and implementing policies and procedures at an operational level, including staff training. Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, students, customers and stakeholders. Problem solving and root cause identification skills. Sound knowledge and understanding of financial management systems with ability to interpret data. Numerate. Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others. Experience of supporting a senior management team, contributing to strategic projects and key business decisions. Experience of disseminating high level information to different groups ensuring that key messages are highlighted and understood. Co-ordination and analysis of data for internal/external customers. Experience of prioritising workload, planning and scheduling for yourself and a team in a busy environment.

Location and hours:

Full-time permanent role (Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week) -- 9.00am - 5.30pm. Part-time working or flexible hours may be considered. Monmouth office based.
