Brokerfy Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established law firm in Greater Manchester to recruit

five experienced Legal PAs

to support a busy and successful

Employers' Liability department

. This is an exceptional opportunity to work directly with a

Principal Partner

, providing high-level secretarial and PA support in a professional, fast-paced legal environment.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience as a Legal PA or Legal Secretary within a personal injury or civil litigation team and will thrive in a role that demands initiative, organisation, and high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities



Prepare legal correspondence and documentation via audio typing and word processing with speed and accuracy. Maintain efficient digital filing systems including opening, closing, storage, and retrieval of client files. Draft and dispatch correspondence and enclosures, managing physical and electronic file movements. Arrange appointments, meetings, and manage the Partner's diary effectively. Provide administrative support to other secretaries and wider team members as needed. Liaise professionally with clients, counsel, and third parties both in person and via telephone. Handle client documentation with the utmost confidentiality and sensitivity. Assist with court forms, pleadings, and use of the firm's

Proclaim case management system

(training can be provided). Undertake training as required and contribute to a culture of excellent client care.

Person Specification



Proven experience as a Legal PA or Legal Secretary (essential). Previous experience in personal injury or civil litigation (highly desirable). Excellent typing and audio typing skills (minimum 65 wpm). High level of accuracy, spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Familiarity with digital dictation tools (BigHand preferred). Competent with Microsoft Office and general legal IT systems. Prior experience with the

Proclaim

case management system is desirable. Calm and professional telephone manner with a strong focus on client service. Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritise tasks independently. Committed to maintaining strict confidentiality and demonstrating initiative.

Salary & Working Hours



Salary:

26,000 - 30,000, depending on experience.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:30pm Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
