We are seeking a highly organised full time Legal Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a solid understanding of legal terminology and procedures within our conveyancing and private client department which includes both residential and commercial conveyancing, Wills, Probate, Trusts and other general areas.
Duties
Provide administrative support to the senior partner including managing schedules and appointments.
Manage digital documents and correspondence
Carry out audio typing of legal documents and correspondence
Maintain accurate filing systems, both electronic and paper-based
Manage incoming communications via telephone, email, and post, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
Communicate effectively with clients, solicitors and other professionals
Skills
Proficient in audio typing with a keen attention to detail.
Previous administrative experience within a legal environment is essential
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Solid IT skills with the ability to adapt to new software quickly.
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary

Working hours -
8:45am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday
Holidays -
36 days holiday per year - pro-rata (which includes Bank Holidays)
