Job Summary


We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support to lawyers, ensuring the smooth operation of the office. This role requires excellent time management skills, proficiency in IT applications, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues alike.

Duties



Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office. Offer drinks etc. Answer telephone calls, forward when required and deal with queries within your knowledge. Taking messages and ensuring they are passed to the appropriate staff member(s). Effectively communicating with clients and being the first point of contact. Arranging appointments for fee earners as well as managing diaries. Providing administrative/secretarial support to fee earners to include but not limited to file opening, printing, scanning, filing, file closings, time recording, bundling and copying. Dealing with incoming/outgoing post including going to the post office and or Court. Audio typing Preparing invoices and taking payments. To prepare meeting rooms as necessary and arrange for the tidying and clearance of rooms at the conclusion of meetings as well as providing refreshments when asked to do so. Manage a clean and organised reception / office including office supply orders. Adhering to company policies and procedures that are in place. Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Working as a team and communicating effectively to ensure that reception tasks are completed. Any other duties you are required to perform from time to time. You are required to travel to and work at various locations and sites as determined by the needs of the business.
