We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to assist our small law practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative skills and a strong ability to manage time effectively in a small and friendly working environment.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support to legal professionals.
Maintain organised filing systems for both electronic and paper documents.
Manage incoming communications, including phone calls and emails.
Utilise Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel for document creation and data management.
Assist with file opening, client onboarding, supporting fee earners with the day to day tasks.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations and client satisfaction.
Experience
Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a legal environment is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is helpful.
Strong organisational skills.
Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines consistently while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is an advantage.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 14.00-15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
