You will be supporting Employment Partner Tim Lang and work in conjunction with Legal Secretaries Claire Brookman, Alena Dudrah and Lian Styring. This role will be based in the Kidderminster office with the wider team working from Birmingham, Worcester and Telford offices.
You will have a significant influence on how you want your experience and expertise to develop, and you will be strongly encouraged and supported to get involved with clients and the wider organisation.
Day to day, you'll be successful in this role by:
The Employment Team is looking for a dedicated Legal Secretary. This is an exciting opportunity to join this established team where we handle a broad spectrum of cases.
Key Responsibilities:
To undertake secretarial work as requested by your Partner including typing, photocopying and correspondence.
To assist with file management including openings, closures and reviews.
To manage appointment scheduling and diary entries.
To maintain correct storage and retrieval of client's documents.
To attend to clients on behalf of your fee earner when appropriate.
Requirements:
Experience in a Secretarial role in a Professional Services environment.
Knowledge of Employment law is beneficial.
Dictation and audio typing skills.
Filing and organisational skills.
Professional demeanour.
