If so, we have the ideal opportunity for you. Currently, we are seeking to recruit a hardworking individual for our Falkirk office.

Candidates shall work as a Legal Assistant primarily within our Residential Conveyancing Department in our Falkirk office. They will work and support our fee earners to ensure the smooth running of the team & enhance each client's experience

Key Responsibilities of the role



Liaising with and providing administration support solicitors and fee earners Answering calls for the department and responding to enquiries for new and existing matters (email, telephone, and letters) Processing the mail Working with the online case management system, keeping records up to date Filing for the department Scanning mail and documentation, where required, for all matters in the department Arranging appointments and booking relevant meeting rooms Opening new files on behalf of fee earners and drafting of initial letters to client and documentation as directed by those within the department Taking instructions from clients on submitting offers for properties Preparing offers and submitting these to the relevant estate agents/selling party Submission of advance notices for sales and purchases to Registers of Scotland. Assisting with the uploading of relevant documentation to lender panel platforms Retrieving files from storage Preparing and implementing mandates Arranging signing of mail Providing relief cover for reception in our Falkirk office where required.

Candidates should possess the following Experience and Skills:



Experience working within a busy office environment. The ability to work in a fast-paced, high turnover environment. Strong communication skills, written and verbal. Experience working with clients. A high level of attention to detail. The ability to multi-task. Excellent MS office skills.
Additionally, it would be desirable but

not

essential for you to have the following:

HND/SVQ qualification in business administration, legal services (or similar) and Residential Conveyancing experience.
Salary commensurate with the level of experience of the candidate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 23,500.00-24,514.00 per year
