We have a Part time (three days a week) on-site role for an experienced Private Client Legal Secretary located in our office in Folkestone. You will have excellent typing skills, client care focus and attention to detail. You will be able to audio type at a high level for fee earners specialising in all private client work such as Probate, Wills, Estate and Trusts and Lasting Power of Attorney work.
We are seeking someone with a minimum of one year's experience so you can hit the ground running within our amazing and supportive team. In the future, you may be needed to work in other departments.
In addition to traditional cross-discipline secretarial skills, the ideal candidate will have an interest in legal matters and understanding of confidentiality requirements, well organised, conscientious and work well within a team.
You will receive a salary of 24,000 to 26,500 (Depending on experience) pro rata and we will provide you with a progressive and supportive environment with a very low staff turnover.
We hold Wellbeing training, salary reviews and appraisals and we also hold social activities throughout the year.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Legal Secretary for at least one year in Private Client department
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on professionalism.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
