We are seeking a Legal Secretary to join our busy Residential Conveyancing department. We are a friendly team based in central Tunbridge Wells. This role is full time, permanent with opportunity for hybrid working.
This is a broad and varied role, requiring outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
File opening and closing, including conducting KYC and AML checks
Preparing draft contracts, submitting search requests and dealing with Land Registry applications
Using the Firm's case management system (P4W) to manage matters
Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process
Handling general residential enquires
To succeed in this role you must demonstrate the following attributes:

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Proactive approach
Ability to multi task
Ability to work in strictest confidence
Proficient in the use of IT applications including Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
Expected start date: ASAP
At least 1 year's prior law firm experience in a similar role
is essential.
Hours of work Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30 pm.
