We have a vacancy for a Legal Secretary to join our firm and growing Conveyancing team. The position is full-time, with the majority of your time being spent working in Conveyancing, occasionally there may be need for you to assist in covering other departments depending on holiday and case load. The role will also include seeing clients, answering the telephone and dealing with general secretarial support for our fee earners.
Main Responsibilities:
Typing of correspondence and legal documentation as dictated by a Fee Earner.
Using the firm's case management system
Attending to clients on the phone and in person, taking ID and paperwork
Setting up new files
Photocopying and dealing with incoming post
Providing updates on files where appropriate to clients, agents and solicitors.
Administrative duties relating to client transactions
Personal Requirements:
Experience working in a law firm or as a secretary previously is preferred, but not necessary and full training can be provided.
IT literate
Good verbal and written communication
Salary: TBC based on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00
Experience:
Secretarial experience preferred, but not essential.
