Experienced Legal Assistant / Secretary

The Firm
My client are a well-established High Street law firm based in Goring-by-Sea, Worthing, known for their friendly, supportive and professional working environment. As our team continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant/Secretary to join the firm.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary to support a busy Private Client Solicitor and contribute to the smooth running of the expanding department.
You will be confident liaising with clients and colleagues, highly organised, able to prioritise effectively, and willing to take initiative in supporting both your solicitor and the wider team.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing full secretarial support, including digital dictation, to produce correspondence and documentation relating to Private Client matters
Fast and accurate typing using our case management system (LEAP) -- prior experience with LEAP is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided
Opening new files on the case management system
Carrying out identity checks
Handling general administrative tasks including photocopying, filing and scanning
Taking incoming calls from clients and meeting clients in the reception area
Drafting relevant legal documents
Arranging appointments and maintaining diaries
Hours & Salary
Full and Part Time Considered. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
