As a

Legal Support Assistant

in our team, you'll be supporting the Insurance Division with the opening of a variety of files and capturing all data on a centralised system. The role can be based from either our Glasgow or Edinburgh office, and we offer a hybrid working arrangement with 2 or 3 days working from the office and 2 or 3 days from home.


Responsibilities:
Processing instructions for all new matters. Adhering to strict service levels. Ensuring that files are opened timeously to meet with specific court deadlines related to each file. Accurately entering all relevant data and information on to a centralised system. Be able to prioritise and organise your work efficiently and effectively to ensure all tasks are completed to specified deadlines. Being able to work flexibly and adjust to changes in priority of workload. Maintaining electronic files in line with business process and regulatory requirements.

What will help you succeed in this role? :

Essential

Legal or Law qualifications, with personal interest in Scottish law. Basic to intermediate IT and keyboard skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft systems. Excellent administration / organisational skills. Ability to work to set deadlines and service levels.

Desirable

A good team spirit with proven team working skills. Good attention to detail and concern for accuracy and quality of work Excellent communication skills.
