LEGO- Lead Instructor



Reporting to: Operations Director

Role Overview



With over 40 locations across the UK, SuperCamps is a leading provider of multi-activity programmes in the childcare industry. We offer an exciting range of activities designed to engage and inspire children aged 4-12, including our unique LEGO Play course. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Camp Team this Easter. Whether you're looking to kickstart your career in childcare or coaching, develop existing skills, or explore something new, this role offers a fantastic opportunity. You will be responsible for delivering our LEGO course, inspiring creativity, leading group activities, and ensuring the highest standards of care for children attending our camps. This role has even led some candidates to work directly with LEGO, providing both instructors and children with truly unique experiences.

Key Responsibilities



Enthusiastically deliver the LEGO course, inspiring creativity and engagement in children.

Lead structured group activities confidently and effectively.

Ensure a high level of care, safety, and wellbeing for all children on camp.

Adapt to a dynamic and busy environment, demonstrating flexibility when needed.

Work as part of a team to maintain a positive and energetic camp atmosphere.

Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure the highest standards of child protection.

Maintain excellent timekeeping and organisational skills throughout the role.

Act as a role model for children, ensuring an enjoyable and inclusive environment.

Person Specification



Essential:



Enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about working with children.

A strong interest in LEGO and creative play.

Experience in teaching, coaching, or working with children (preferably in design technology or a related setting).

Understanding of the importance of safeguarding children.

Highly motivated, responsible, and adaptable to different camp settings.

Right to work in the UK.

Willingness to obtain a valid

DBS

check.

At least

18 years old.



Desirable:



A paediatric first aid qualification (preferred, not essential)

Previous experience delivering structured activity sessions.

Background in education, childcare, or a relevant coaching discipline.

Salary:

From 118.80 a day

Working Hours:

Rota'd between 8am-6pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.40-12.49 per hour
